I’m sure that comes as no great surprise to anyone, but check it. Firefox 2.0 has an awesome thing where if you misspell stuff, it puts a little red line under whatever you wrote to tell you the word is spelled wrong. Nifty, except I thought it worked on all blog platforms. Not so, it doesn’t work in WordPress. Or, at least, it doesn’t work on the Home-Ec 101 version of WordPress. Here I thought I was this fab speller whenever I was writing for HE101 and the truth is, it just doesn’t work over there. It’s Heather that’s been going in and fixing my typos and misspellings.

I am a dumbasssssss.

That’s really funny, because I didn’t realize it was Firefox doing that — I thought the blogs themselves had some sort of spell-checky thing built into the forms.

LOL thanks for giving me credit.

Oddly enough it works for WordPress comment fields.

I have the Firefox red line thingie, but unfortunately it doesn’t do grammar and tell me when I screw up and put principal instead of principle, or accept instead of except and all those stupid mistakes I make!

BTW, in the irony department, the word “Firefox” has a red line under it.
