Thankfulest Thursday of all

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! (and a very special Happy Turkey Day to Sista Smiff, because I read that it pisses her off, ha. )

Normally I don’t do the whole “Thankful Thursday” thing. When I was thinking about writing this post, I thought about *why* I don’t do Thankful Thursday, and I have no idea why. I just don’t.

Anyway, here’s just a smattering of what I have been thankful for this year.

~Let’s start with the good health that my family (other than my dad) has been experiencing. And really, even though St. Mark has been sick, it’s not the worst possible thing ever, it *is* fixable, I feel pretty good about it.

~My parents. Mystery Lady X and St. Mark have always been supportive of my dreams, and now that my dreams are coming true, they’re very proud of me.

~Our financial situation doing a complete 180. We went from being *very* poor to being very comfortable, and I cannot be grateful enough for this.

~My husband and children. That was a bit hard to type, as the kids are fighting yet again, and Jim’s still laid up in bed after coming home REALLY late last night, but anyway. Yeah. I’m thankful for them. Just not so much at this exact moment.

~My friends. This was NOT hard to type, as I’ve got some of the greatest friends EVER.

~The fact that I don’t have a cone head.

~4 glorious days off in a row!!!

~My beautiful house

~Having time to myself last night! I went and ate the rest of the Slim Jims (all 3 of them. Take that, kids!) then played Bully until I had to pick the kids up. It was a blast.

There are so many things, but those are the major things. Time to watch the Macy’s Parade with the kids!!
