Awesome weekend

I had a great weekend, very bloggery, ha. Friday night, I had an Arbonne party with a bunch of my blogger gal-pals. It was pretty fun, despite my stalker who lives across the street showing up a blue million times. Sometime I’ll write out the whole Bobby story, but it’s too long to get into this morning.

Then Saturday morning, I went to the WKRN blogger meet-up. I finally got to meet Sarcastro, Sista Smiff, and Cee El Cee which was super. I also managed to freak out Paul Chenoweth by licking my fingers seconds before we were supposed to shake hands. (sorry about that! In my defense, it was early!)

I think I got to also freak Blake Wylie out by telling him I was a huge fan, then 2 seconds later, tell Mike Sechrist I’m a fan, ha. I really *am* big fans of both, I just happened to meet them about 2 seconds apart, lol.

Blake’s got such a completely awesome video blog, that I have been inspired to make one of my own, except I don’t have the equipment. Blake showed me you don’t need fancy equipment, and I was once again impressed by his ingenuity.

Mike started this whole Nashville Is Talking thing and really, I think if it wasn’t for NiT, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I enjoyed meeting him immensely.

Everyone else has pretty much covered the coolness that is Michael Rosenblum, so I’ll just say I was suitably inspired.

After that, I went home, picked up my kids from Mystery Lady X’s place, and went to the La Vergne Civic Auditorium for a “Meet the Candidates” barbecue. You can read about that here.

Then Sunday was pretty relaxed, we went over to my mom’s in the afternoon and the kids played on the new 4 wheeler she got them. Pretty cool.
