So Jim decided last night that he was going to look at my car this morning. Since the big convo with Kev about my vacuum hoses, Jim has decided to take it upon himself to look at my car. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he’s taking interest, and I trust him, mostly, but…
This is the Shiny Red Convertible we’re talking about! I want repairs on it left to a pro!
Jim’s taken it over to Auto Zone and is going to be asking them about it. Hopefully they either a. tell him EXACTLY how to fix it or b. tell him to leave it to a pro.
Unfortunately, St. Mark had inventory all weekend, or I’d just take it over to St. Mark and between St. Mark and Jim, I’d trust them both together to fix it. Well, maybe. St. Mark struggled just to put windshield wipers on my car. But he’s fixed the alternator on one of my other cars, so who knows.
BTW, when St. Mark struggled to put the windshield wipers on my car? You know who finally figured out how to put them on? Mystery Lady X. Too bad she’s too busy today to work on my car, I’d trust her.
ETA: O, ye of little faith! He took it over to Auto Zone and they fixed it. Jim says it’s like a whole new car. That’ll teach me to not trust him.
And yay! The shiny red convertible is running well again!
ETA #2: I drove it. It’s perfect. Oh, joy!!!!!

YEAH! Now you won’t be all depressed when I visit in ::drumroll:: a couple weeks. It’s coming around fast; Tim’s not even on outage this time. However, he has promised me he will spend the weekend working on his car.
::snicker, snort, guffaw:: That damn thing better be road worthy when we get home.
