I’ll be online at times tomorrow, I’m sure, but I’ll not be blogging so much, if at all. (Unless something interesting happens at T’giving dinner) So, let me take this opportunity to write a post to you guys, my readers.

I am thankful for you guys. Some of you readers are people I already knew in real life, some of you are people I met through this blog, and some are people I have never met, but all of you are very important to me. Thank you for being here, for reading, for commenting. It means the world to me.

There are very few things in my life I do that are just for me. This blog is one of them. The majority of my days are filled up with doing for other people- for my kids, for my husband, for my other family members. For the longest time, I didn’t have anything that I did that was for *me*. It’s easy to get caught up, when you’re a stay at home mom, in the whole world of doing for others and leaving yourself behind somewhere in the rubble. I fell quite easily into that trap, and it was terrible for my mental health.

I started writing in the whole journal/blog format at Livejournal. I still write in my lj, I’ve made lots of friends there that are also dear to me, but lj is filled with freaks and fakers and stuff, so I felt like I needed to lock up my entries, and only let people on my friendslist read them. That’s nice, but somehow knowing the world at large is reading what I have to say, is so much more self-gratifying.

I am addicted to my sitemeter. I love seeing that lots of people have come to my blog and read what I have to say. So, you see, by reading and coming here, you guys are doing me a great service, something I need.

A few posts back I said I’m an attention whore. I am, I really am. I feel like one of my kids sometimes, “pay attention to meeee!”, but I must admit, it is totally good for me. I have been in a better mood, largely, since I started writing regularly in this blog.

So, everyone, thanks again, and happy Thanksgiving!
